Emily suffers from Rheumatoid Arthritis and Lupus, but manages working in a busy Academic role and being a single mum to a five year old. In this interview she talks to me from her home in Texas and shares the daily physical and mental challenges that are part of living with a chronic illness. Also, we hear of the new drug therapies Emily takes to support kidney function and manage symptoms plus how her strong drive and motivation help her to stay on track.
